beautiful
small George I / II seamed brass candlestick with a square base and with concave chamfered corners supporting a slender double-knopped stem and a bell-shaped sconce; English, circa 1720 - 1740.
If you are looking for a genuine period candlestick for use or for your collection then look no further, you won't find a more authentic example than this.
The stick is small and neat in its proportions, measuring about 6 5/8 inches tall. The stem has two knops for
added resilience, one of annular shape and one of faceted form (see photograph #1). It is of seamed construction
and in excellent condition with no damage.
