RARE Troubadour Pattern, Souvenir Custard Glass Stemmed Water Goblet, with hand-painted red rose decor, green leafing & red cursive lettering.

he census-designated place of Lake Ripley is located in the town of Oakland, a village
in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. The unincorporated communities of Breezy Knoll & Sylvan Mounds are also located in the town.
Goblet is large & heavy, measuring a full 6 inches+ tall & 3 1/4" in diameter across top bowl.
This lovely piece is done in the
VERY RARE
"Troubadour" pattern, named such by William Heacock because of it's classic early English appearance......seen on page 56 of the 1976 Encyclopedia of Victorian Pattern Glass Book 4 "Custard Glass from A to Z", by Mr. Heacock. Please note my 3rd & 4th images from book.
Condition is EXCELLENT
with NO chips, although gold across top rim is well worn.....a common occurrence after 100+ years.
