Large Blanc de Chine Porcelain Trotting Horse Figurine Statue, impressed 1207 and Prof Karner. Green circular stamp Classic Rose Collection Rosenthal Group Germany. This mark was used from 1974 - 1982. Beautifully designed with attention to detail from flowing mane to tail. Oval base. The prancing or trotting horse shows the movement of the horse with the extended front left leg and back right leg. Theodore Karner, Kaerner was one of the most prolific Animal designers for Rosenthal, Allach, Eschenbach and Nymphenburg. Large, imposing size.
Size: 10 1/4" high x 12" wide x 4" deep. Weighs 2 lbs.
Condition: Great, without damage or repairs, no stains or discoloration. There is a small Scribble thru the top of Mark. Do not know if that means anything as the statue is in perfect condition.
