    Description
    This item in my EBAY store is an EAPG NORTHWOOD CUSTARD  "INVERTED FAN & FEATHER"  LARGE SQUARE DEEP FTD. MASTER SERVING BOWL.   This Northwood Early American Pattern Glass custard  "INVERTED FAN & FEATHER"  square ftd. master serving bowl is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass that is in beautiful condition, just the way this bowl left the "NORTHWOOD GLASS COMPANY"
    many years ago having NO chips, cracks, scratches, and no glass staining, (photos do show) that there is use wear to the gold gilt stain and the pink stain that is par for this piece of glass dating back to the early 1900's according to my info;   I may also add that this

    is an early
    vintage antique custard glass serving bowl that has been used and displayed over many years and is still a very beautiful custard  "INVERTED FAN & FEATHER"  serving bowl;   I may add that this
    Northwood EAPG custard  "INVERTED FAN & FEATHER"  large square bowl that I have here does have those characteristics of the EAPG era of the glass making process having the air bubbles inside the glass, straw & stress marks in the glass, these characteristics are from the production process and is NOT considered damage;
    This highly collected pattern can be seen and talked about in the "William Heacock's" , "Encyclopedia of Victorian Colored Pattern Glass  Book #4, CUSTARD GLASS from  A  to  Z"  on page #20;   According to "Mr Heacock", "Mr Harry Northwood himself had designed this pattern, dating back to around 1902, and more than likely was produced at the Northwood Glass Company in Indiana, Pennsylvania", and not at the Wheeling, WV. location, according to Mr. Heacock".   I have taken numerous (all) photos outside in natural daylight in different backgrounds in numerous angles and positions to show pattern, glass clarity, condition, custard color (including the gold gilt and the pink stain), and size hoping to answer any and all questions but if need be you can E-mail me or you can see me on my NEW web site at terrymackeyantiques.com.   When using a cell phone or mobile device please click on "see full description" to see more photos and measurements;   Insurance is bought at the USPS at the time of shipment to you, the cost is .25 for the shipping and .75 for the insurance;   All stickers on MY EAPG Northwood custard  "INVERTED FAN & FEATHER"  large square ftd. master serving bowl sent to you must remain on MY
