This beautiful hand sculpted Gadsden Freedom Coin exemplifies the very unity and determination that our Founders had at the birth of our great nation.  This is the same unity and determination today that the Tea Party Movement has come to symbolize in America once again.
The coin also includes a distinctive parchment that details the historic origin of the symbols found on this coin, and why they are so important to Americans today.  The obverse of this coin features the American Timber Rattlesnake that was originally proposed by Benjamin Franklin writing annonmously.  The included parchment elegantly details this story. The reverse of the coin features important symbols from the original Continental Dollar.  The colonists decided to create the Continental Dollar early in the Revolutionary War.
It is just about 1 15/32"  or so in diameter (just a little smaller than an old silver dollar) and is a mixed metal alloy of copper, nickel and zinc.
A portion of the proceeds from each coin purchased will be donated to the Tea Party as our way of expressing our gratitude for all they have accomplished and for they continue to do for the United States of America.
