    Description

For auction is a wonderful piece of art pottery made by The Fulper Pottery Company of Flemington, NJ. The item is a squat double handled vase. The vase is a nice cabinet size as it stands 3 1/16" tall and is approximately 4" in diameter.
The vase displays a classical shape of what looks like a squat urn with two handles. The vase displays a very beautiful Chinese Blue Flambé glaze with a handful of crystals. The neck and side of the handles have the undertones of a green brown Flambé glaze with no blue.
The vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, chips or dings. There are some minor flea nicks along the bottom edge and this was caused when it was ground down smooth to sit level. This is considered factory and insignificant. This is known as shape number 701 in the Fulper Pottery book and described as a "Rim Handled Vase". The vase is marked on the underside bottom with Fulper's vertical race track ink stamp mark. This would date this vase to have been made circa 1922-1928.
At the time of this listing I did a search on Ebay and out of 417 listings there was not 1 of this exact shape for sale. I would have to assume that this is a rare form to find in Fulper. You can find candlesticks that look similar and another form with the scroll handles but not this exact form. Looking for that rarity in Fulper, this one is for you!!

I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July of this year 2020.
I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments
. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the
    merchandise
    unless it is paid for.
    They are also n
ow charging all sellers a commission of 11.5% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 11.5%. This is an increase of 8.6% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 11.5% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer which is factored into my shipping charges.
If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
