    Description

    Lovely heavy butter dish with domed lid , in the CROESUS pattern.  Scalloped edges and fan shaped finial.  No damage in the way of chips, cracks, or breaks.  The color in the glass is thin in places and it shows up as blue/green places.  You can see it in the pics.  The fan finial has brown tint on one side. Very nice vintage piece.  I believe this to be an older piece  because, when you put a bright light behind it the thin places show up a fiery red color and this is a test commonly used to seperate new from old. Measurs approx 5.5" tall, domed lid has a 5.25" diameter, the bottom measures 7.75" in diameter.
